In today scenario, Microsoft Outlook is widely used by millions of customers in conjunction of Exchange Server. When Outlook is used in conjunction of Exchange Server, it creates an offline data file OST. Working offline is a very good facility offered by Microsoft Outlook as one can continue with their work even in downtime of Exchange Server. Once the connection is re-established, Exchange Server synchronizes with Outlook and OST file gets updated. Create a new Outlook profile

Before creating a new Outlook profile; you should delete the current Outlook profile and set the newly created profile as default profile.

a. Go through > Microsoft Windows > Start > Control Panel

b. Hit on the user account and then click Mail( The Mail Set up screen will appear only if Outlook is installed.)

c. In Mail Set up screen, choose & click the “show profile” tab

A “New Profile” screen will appear and you will type your new profile name.

You will add e-mail account to use in your profile.

If you are unable to resolve the issue by creating new outlook profile, the only option you might be left with is repairing OST file or convert OST file to PST file format using some third party OST File Conversion software.

Choose a Third Party Solution to Fix Errors of OST File:

Although, Microsoft suggest OST Integrity Check tool and Inbox Repair Tool to fix and repair corrupted OST file but these utilities get fail when OST file having major corruption issues. These manual solutions do not turn out to be very useful as they may end up in deleting data from the OST file.
